Born to be disadvantaged? Nonsense!

The most powerful and compelling success stories of our time, almost always begin with the fact that they were poor or disadvantaged and PURPOSEFULLY CHOSE not to accept it.

These are inspirational people, who live their lives openly declaring to the world that they will grasp everything that is available to them through hard work and determination.

 There is no reason whatsoever that prevents you from gaining what your parents, school, Church, friends and mentors cannot provide. Just take a trip to your local library or take some time to use the technology of the World Wide Web. Read more »

The “Focusing Hour”

What you think about most of the time is what you become.

What you think about at the beginning of the day is the most important part of you day!

Here is my personal “Kick Start” for the day.

Exercise it doesn’t have to be high impact and lengthy. Fifteen to twenty minutes of walking on a treadmill, cycling, callanetics or even some sit-ups and push-ups to get the heart rate up and the blood flowing. Exercise doesn’t have to be long and hard to benefit the body; recent studies show that fifteen to twenty minute low impact workouts are just as beneficial if not more, than longer harder workouts. How to Keep Motivated…

With the countless negativity the world brings about, how do we keep motivated? Try some of the tips below prepared for you from A to Z

  1. Achieve your dreams. Avoid negative people, things and places. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” 
  2. Believe in your self, and in what you can do. 
  3. Consider things on every angle and aspect. Motivation comes from determination. To be able to understand life, you should feel the sun from both sides. 
  4. Don’t give in and don’t give up. Thomas Edison failed once, twice, more than thrice before he came up with his invention and perfected the incandescent light bulb. Make motivation as your steering wheel.
